WORLD PROTOCOL MATTERS ONLINE CONFERENCE (MAY 11-12, 2023)
This will be the second Edition of the World Protocol Matters Online Conference which is aimed at discussing the Importance and relevance of Protocol in Diplomatic Relations. Over the course of two-days, hundreds of attendees from over 65 countries are expected to participate, heard lec-tures from over 20 speakers comprised of diplomats, scholars, practitioners, business profession-als, and educators who stressed the importance of protocol in diplomatic relations as well as, the need to formalize protocol as a profession.
The conference titled “World Protocol Leaders (WPM) 2023”—Building Tomorrow’s Leaders, will be held once again on 11-12 May 2023. This is continuing on the success of “ WPM2022”. The In-ternational Centre for Protocol and Diplomacy (ICPD) in collaboration with World Protocol Maga-zine , World Protocol Organisation (WPM, WPO) and Myers &Associates, LLC –will bring together thought-leaders, influencers, intellectuals and skilled professionals,to share lessons learned, lever-age our collective knowledge and experiences,explore methods to bring about the need of a Pro-tocol curriculum to the forefront.
Our mission of working through many outstanding players within the international protocol sphere, we strive to further develop a network of recognised professionals to exchange views, present research, reiterate protocols soft-powertenets and serve as a force multiplier in develop-ing Leaders and expanding our collective Leadership capabilities.
Our goal to highlight the expansiveness of the protocol profession and the various aspects and strategic value of the field when applied and leveraged beyond the operational and tactical levels, will help frame conversation on the need for a more formal practicum. Our vision and long-term goals remain to achieve a global understanding and cooperation supporting our ultimate initiative of declaring henceforth, 11 May as “World Protocol Day.”
